Kanan, Kyle & Kory Cox formed Kanan Road over 15 years ago as teenagers in  Palmdale, California.  They named the band after the road their father used to take to the beach in Malibu, CA.  Dad was an avid surfer and music lover too.  Digging through their dad’s music collection (all vinyl of course), they became influenced by greats like The Allman Brothers, Skynyrd, Marshall Tucker, Outlaws & Charlie Daniels, but also others like Bad Company, Jackson Browne & The Eagles to name but a few.

With new members Drew Howard on Bass & Roy Hernandez on Drums, Kanan Road consistently delivers unforgettable, high-energy live performances that are filled with heartfelt precision.  Kanan Road has shared the stage with Trace Adkins, Lonestar, The Marshall Tucker Band, The Dan Band, Love & Theft, Chase Bryant, Gloriana, The Band Perry, Scotty McCreery, Joe Nichols, Easton Corbin, Josh Gracin, Blue Oyster Cult, Molly Hatchet among others at venues from The House of Blues to The Temecula Balloon & Wine Festival, to the The Bluebird Cafe in Nashville to the Canyon Club in Agoura, wineries, fairs and private events.   The band released their newest album “Back on Track” in 2014, which is now available on cd or digital download on iTunes, CDBaby, and at all Kanan Road shows.  Kanan Road is the real deal.  Real songs, real instruments, real players, real music!
