In compliance with Order R9 2013-0001 of the Municipal Stormwater Permit issued by the San Diego Regional Water Quality Control Board, the City of San Marcos in conjunction with other jurisdictions of the Carlsbad Watershed Management Area (CWMA) consisting of portions of the Cities of Carlsbad, Encinitas, Escondido, Oceanside, Solana Beach, Vista, County of San Diego, and San Marcos, are developing a Water Quality Improvement Plan (WQIP) for the Carlsbad Watershed Management Area.
Community groups, residents and the business community in the City of San Marcos are encouraged to attend the public workshop to discuss water quality issues within the CWMA and potential solutions that will help inform the planning process.
The workshop will be held on Monday November 4th, 2013 from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at the City of Vista Community Room located at 200 Civic Center Drive, Vista, California 92084.
