The City of San Marcos and the San Marcos Unified School District are hosting a community event where San Marcos residents can come together to give thanks and appreciation to the community’s response to the recent fires in San Marcos on Saturday, May 31 from 11 am to 3pm at Mission Hills High School’s football stadium.
The event is open to the public and will include a formal recognition ceremony, an emergency preparedness resources fair, light refreshments and music along with an opportunity to meet many of the first responders who helped protect San Marcos.
