Info: Enjoy a memorable bike ride through the northwestern portion of San Marcos. This ride is meant for the casual rider who is interested in exploring the city’s parks and trail system on the northwestern portion of the city. A 10 mile tour, for Beginner to Intermediate bikers, highlights the Rail Trail to Las Posas Rd. At Las Posas we go north on the trail and ride by Creek View, Valley View, Quail Valley, Las Posas, Amigo, Foot Hills & Santa Fe Hills Parks. Taking Borden Rd. by Bel Espirit & Pebblestone Park. Then to Twin Oaks Valley & back to the Community Center. Riding surface includes a a combination of trails with D.G. and city streets. The terrain will be mostly flat with some short inclines. Mountain or hybrid bikes recommmended.
