Info: Explore the trails north and east of San Elijo Park including Make-A-Wish Trail. The approximate 4 mile hike will be moderately difficult. There will be both fast and slower-paced hiking opportunities. Please note longer hike have been modified due to expected heat advisory.

Meeting location: Hikers will meet at the parking lot of San Elijo Park Recreation Center, 1105 Elfin Forest Road, San Marcos, CA 92078. Near the corner of Elfin Forest Road and San Elijo Road in San Marcos.

Good to know:  Registration will begin at 8:30 am. The hike will start at 9:00 am. An adult must accompany all minors. Sturdy walking shoes are recommended; bring water and trail snacks. Dogs must be on a 6-foot leash.
