The City of San Marcos is bringing back a trusted after-school option for local families with the launch of Rec Club, an updated program designed in partnership with the San Marcos Unified School District. Starting in Fall 2025, Rec Club will offer safe, structured, and enriching care for full-day TK and elementary students.
The program is a modern take on after-school care previously offered by the City, reimagined to meet today’s family needs. Hosted at the San Marcos and San Elijo Recreation Centers, Rec Club will include supervised activities, games, snacks, homework help, and caring, trained staff. Transportation is provided via SMUSD bus service directly from school campuses to program sites.
