City officials announced today that the hearing for the San Marcos Highlands housing project scheduled for the January 13 planning commission meeting has been postponed. The project applicant requested postponement in order to address issues raised by the San Diego Local Agency Formation Commission (LAFCO).

The housing project calls for 190 new homes on 262-acres between the northern terminus of Las Posas Road and Buena Creek Road.
