Our Services
The Streets Maintenance Division oversees maintenance of City streets including street lights, street signs, sidewalks, traffic signals, and dead animal and graffiti removal.The division also coordinates the department-wide team of rotating call-out crews and contractors that respond to service requests and emergencies after normal business hours.

*If a holiday falls on a regularly scheduled sweeping day, sweeping will be performed in the following days. Please note that streets are not swept on rainy days. Streets affected by rain will be swept in the following days, weather permitting.
After-Hours, Weekends or Closed Fridays
The Public Works Department is closed every other Friday. Please see the City Calendar for more details.
For any sewer service or spills and water service or leaks, please contact the Vallecitos Water District, Vista Irrigation District or Rincon Diablo Water District directly.
